A highly authentic, handwoven lampshade crafted in rural regions of Zimbabwe, where local artisans use natural Ilala palm fibers. The material is locally sourced, processed, boiled and dried before being carefully woven. The weaving technique has been preserved for generations, but in this design, tradition is combined with a modern form, creating a distinctive and visually striking object. These weavings were originally made as baskets, but when turned upside down, they transform into a lampshade that serves both as lighting and an interior accent. Each piece is handmade, therefore slight variations in shape and details may occur. Electrical installation not included - use an E27 LED bulb.
